Privacy policy

This site is a static field manual. It has no login, no comment box, and no reason to know who you are. This page states exactly what happens to your visit, in the same plain terms as the rest of the manual.

What this site does not do

  • No accounts There is no registration, no sign-in, and no user profile. Nothing you do here is attached to an identity.
  • No cookies The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage or session storage. No consent banner appears because there is nothing to consent to.
  • No analytics No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no heatmap recorder, no session replay tool, and no third-party measurement script of any kind is loaded.
  • No advertising There are no ad networks, no retargeting pixels, and no social media embed scripts on any page.
  • No forms No contact form, newsletter box, or upload field exists, so no personal details are ever submitted to this site.

What is technically processed

The site is served as static files by Cloudflare, which operates the content delivery network in front of it. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data in order to deliver pages and to block abuse: the requested URL, the time of the request, the referring page, the browser user agent, and the connecting IP address. This is ordinary infrastructure logging performed by the hosting provider, not collection by this site; the site itself has no database, no server-side application, and no facility to read, store, or profile those logs.

Cloudflare's own handling of that data is described in its privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Leaving this site

Some pages link out to the Steam store page, to Steam announcements, and to the Poppy Playtime wiki, because that is where the facts cited here come from. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site and their privacy policy applies, not this one. All artwork on this site is stored locally; no image is loaded from a third-party server at runtime, so reading a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else.

Children

The site is a written reference about a video game and is not directed at children under 13. Because no personal data is collected from any visitor, no personal data is collected from children either.

Changes and questions

If a future version of this site ever adds measurement, advertising, or a comment facility, this page will be rewritten first and the revision date above will change, so the policy always describes the site as it actually is. Since nothing is stored about you, there is no personal record to access, correct, export, or delete. Corrections about the game's facts belong on the About page, which documents where every claim came from.

Unofficial fan reference. Escape from Playtime and the Smiling Critters are properties of Mob Entertainment. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the developer.
